Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club has been chosen to host the Devon Cricket Women’s and Girls Finals Day on September 15.
This prestigious event will see women and girls from across the county gather for an awards ceremony for League Winners in the Devon Women’s Softball League, Devon Women’s Cricket League and Devon Girls Cricket League as well as the women and Girls Reward and Recognition Awards. The all-day celebration of women’s cricket will see our pitches host the Under 13s Powerpairs Final, Under 11s Countdown Cricket final, Under 13s Countdown Cricket Final, Under 15s Super 8s Final and the u17 Blast final.
Ann-Mare Presswell, Women and Girl’s Development Officer said: “It is fantastic that Budleigh Salterton have agreed to host the 3rd women and girl’s Final’s Day this season. The two pitch venue is essential for the day and the hospitality the clubhouse is able to offer means that those coming will have a great day. Excitingly it has been confirmed that we will be joined by a player from Western Storm to help celebrate the successes in the women and girl’s game. I am very much looking forward to the day and would like to thank BSCC for supporting the growth of women and girls cricket in Devon”
