Do you like baking? Would you be happy to make the occasional cake for match teas at our home games? Or to help organise a rota of bakers?
Many clubs have given up providing traditional volunteer-led match teas, but here at BSCC we would love to keep that quintessential part of cricket alive!
The club has a modest budget (dictated by the league) for the provision of teas and we have a team happy to help lay out the teas and clear away afterwards but we are looking for the following –
• A volunteer willing to organise a rota of helpers who will provide the teas for each game for our 2nd and 3rd XI players and the visiting teams. Basic IT skills would be helpful for this role.
• Volunteers willing to take responsibility for providing a cricket tea for a match (or two) over the summer (with budget given by the club to cover costs).
• Bakers who would be happy to commit to baking and donating the occasional cakes.
