The Holt was transformed in to a models runway last week for a glittering night of fizz and fashion courtesy of Caramel Clothing Exmouth.
Players from the club’s women’s section took to the catwalk and modelled clothing and accessories from the popular Exmouth stores range and raised £890 in the process!
The money, raised through ticket sales and a raffle, will go towards further enhancing the club’s flourishing women and girls’ cricket provision.
Caramel Clothing, a sponsor of the BSSC women’s team, has collaborated with the club for previous shows and we are extremely grateful for their generosity.
Sarah Simcock, owner of Caramel said: “We were absolutely delighted to hold this event at Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club and support such a fantastic group of women. Seeing the ladies team step out of their comfort zones and model our collection with such confidence and energy was truly inspiring. Community is at the heart of our fashion shows at Caramel, and being able to raise funds for the team’s future while bringing people together for a fun, uplifting evening made it incredibly special. We’re also so grateful to everyone who came along, supported the event, and helped make the night such a success — the generosity and encouragement from the community really meant a lot to us all.”
