Club hosts first Cricket festival for SEND children

BSCC demonstrates commitment to disability cricket.
We were thrilled to host our first festival for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities on Thursday on May 23.
In a day of cricket-based skills and activity sessions students were helped and guided by teachers and coaches and year Eight sports leaders from the Kings Schools who showed incredibly maturity and leadership.
The day was organised by East Devon School Games, the Devon Cricket and Foundation and Budleigh Salterton Cricket Club and was an event we hope to repeat as part of our commitment to making cricket accessible to all.
Our Grand Draw, tickets on sale for £1 now from The Holt and the Treasury, Budleigh Salterton High Street, has a top prize of £250 and will raise money for disability cricket provision.
